Gamble Systems ("we", "us", or "our") operates the BioGyro mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the App.

By using BioGyro, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

2. Information We Collect

Information You Provide

• Account information: Email address and a password (stored as a salted hash) when you create an account.
• Meal photos and descriptions: Photos you take of meals are uploaded for AI-based food recognition. Photos are stripped of EXIF metadata (including location) before upload.
• Health check-ins: Self-reported symptom and energy data you submit through in-app check-ins (e.g., energy level, bloating, mood).
• Fasting logs: Start and end times of voluntary fasting windows you record.
• Water intake: Self-reported daily water consumption.

Information Collected Automatically

• Device information: Device model and operating system version, used for compatibility and debugging.
• Usage data: Feature interactions and timestamps to improve the App experience. No advertising identifiers are collected.

Information We Do NOT Collect

• Precise geolocation or GPS data
• Contacts, calendar, or phone call data
• Advertising or tracking identifiers (IDFA)
• Browsing or search history outside the App
• Financial or payment information (subscriptions are handled by Apple)

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the data you provide to:

• Generate personalized metabolic insights and stability scores (the Human Stability Index)
• Identify potential food triggers and patterns through our algorithm
• Display your fasting, water, and symptom history within the App
• Improve the accuracy of our food recognition and insight models
• Send you transactional communications (e.g., password resets)

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling for third parties, or any purpose unrelated to delivering the BioGyro service.

4. AI and Food Photo Processing

Meal photos are processed using AI services (including OpenAI) to identify food items and nutritional content. Before transmission:

• All EXIF metadata (GPS coordinates, camera info) is stripped from photos on-device.
• Photos are transmitted over encrypted connections (TLS 1.2+).
• We do not use your photos to train third-party AI models. Our AI providers process photos under data processing agreements that prohibit using your data for their own training.

5. Data Storage and Security

• Your data is stored on secure, access-controlled servers.
• All data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest (AES-256).
• Passwords are stored as salted bcrypt hashes and are never stored in plain text.
• Access to production systems is restricted to authorized personnel only.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. We may share limited data with:

• AI processing providers (e.g., OpenAI) — meal photo data only, under strict data processing agreements.
• Infrastructure providers (e.g., DigitalOcean) — for hosting, under standard service agreements.
• Legal authorities — only if required by law or to protect the safety of users.

7. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account:

• All personal data, meal logs, check-ins, and photos are permanently deleted within 30 days.
• Anonymized, aggregated data (not linked to you) may be retained for service improvement.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access your data — view all stored meals, check-ins, and insights in the App.
• Export your data — request a full data export at any time.
• Delete your data — request complete account and data deletion.
• Correct inaccurate information by contacting us.

9. Children's Privacy

BioGyro is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly.

The App may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties. We encourage you to review their privacy policies.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
